All manner of upholstered furniture can be recovered. Upholstered furniture can be revitalised with a simple recover or stripped down to the frame and completely reupholstered. We use methods appropriate to the piece whether it be traditional hand-tied springs or modern webbing and foam. The timberwork can also be re-finished or re-stained as required.

Reupholstering of Furniture

Depending on the condition of the upholstery under the fabric we strip down to the frame and replace, repair or reinforce the webbing and/or springs and replace the foam.

Fabric

There is an extraordinary number of beautiful fabrics available in rich colours or simple hues in plain textures or complex weaves. Many fabric samples are available to view at our Newtown showroom, alternatively we can arrange for you to visit the wonderful fabric trade showrooms.

Outdoor Furnishings

We supply and refurbish outdoor upholstery materials and fabrics made especially for outdoor use. The fabrics are water repellent, soil and bacteria resistant and have excellent fade and sun resistance.

Over the last few years the range of outdoor furnishing fabric has increased to include fabrics with subtle colours and a “handle” much softer and more comfortable than in the past. Because of the durability and the improved feel of these many are also suitable for indoor use.

Health Care Fabrics

Another area of textile advancement is fabric suitable for the health care industry but which can also be used for homes where there is heavy use or pets. These fabrics are the top of the range in providing moisture, odor, stain and bacterial resistance. The fabric retains a soft supple handle and is available in an ever-widening range of colours and textures.
